The death has occurred of Pa John Orieme Idehen, aged 82.
Pa Idehen was an accomplished builder.
He designed and constructed many of the buildings in Agbor town in the 1980s and 1990s.
Pa Idehen was born in Owa Alizomor, Ika North local government area of Delta state in 1937.
He was trained as a builder in 1956 and went on to practice his skills right down to the end of his life.
He is survived by an aged wife, 11 children who are all graduates, 37 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Idehen touched many lives during his lifetime. He mentored many non-biological children who had no one to train them in school.
He was buried in his compound in Owa Alizomor on August 19, 2017, after funeral service at Fellowship Baptist Church.
