Rep tasks constituents on skill acquisition

The member representing  Ikpoba-Okha /Egor Federal Constituency in Edo state, Hon. Ehizogie Agbonayinma, yesterday  empowered members of his constituents with goods worth N65 million
Besides, the legislator also flagged-off the construction of Skills Acquisition Centre/Multi-purpose Hall in Egba   community, Ikpoba-Okha local government area of the state.
Presenting the items,  which include  150 grinding machines and 80 sewing machines to the beneficiaries, Agbonayinma said the empowerment scheme was in fulfillment of his electioneering promise to the people.
He admonished the recipients to put the items to proper use in order to advance their business.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lawmaker further said: “I know times are hard for every Nigerian including elected officers.
“Our focus is on diversification to Agricultural production, training and distribution of empowerment items for us to be able to create jobs and wealth for Nigerians.”
According to him, “this empowerment   is not about PDP, APC or APGA. It is about my constituency.
“If you look at the beneficiaries, I don’t know them in person, but all I know is that they are members of Ikpoba-Okha/Egor Federal Constituency,” he stated.
Edo State Head of Service, Mrs. Gladys Idahor represented Governor Godwin Obaseki at the ceremony.
