Revealed! Pogba ‘now set’ to dump Man Utd, for Real, Juve

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba looks set to join either Real Madrid or Juventus this summer, according to reports in Italy.

Pogba appears certain to leave Old Trafford in the upcoming transfer window and has continued to flirt with a move away, with a host of European giants having been interested in his services in the past, including Barcelona.

And according to Tuttosport, Pogba will tell United chiefs that he wants to leave Manchester in June.

Pogba’s priority is a return to Juventus but Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane and president Florentino Perez are prepared to use Gareth Bale as bait in order to sign the French World Cup winner.

Bale, who has been left frustrated due to a lack of playing time at the Bernabeu, could be offered to United as Madrid look to speed up the possibility of signing Pogba.

The 26-year-old Frenchman has never really settled back into life in Manchester after struggling to find his formidable form that saw him make the then world-record £89million move to United in the summer of 2016.

It was also reported on Thursday that Pogba is heading ever closer to the exit door after agent Mino Raiola ‘cancelled a meeting with the club over a new deal’ for the midfielder, who was recently named in the PFA Team of the Year.

The decision by Raiola to cancel a meeting, according to the Sun, is due to Pogba’s determination to secure a move away from Old Trafford this summer.

According to the report, United’s players ‘fear Ole Gunnar Solskjaer cannot handle Pogba’s ego’ as defeat to rivals Manchester City on Wednesday made it seven defeats in nine games.

Pogba and his United team-mates have it all to do to secure a Champions League spot next season with three Premier League games remaining.

The Red Devils sit sixth, three points off Chelsea in fourth, who play each other in the league on Sunday afternoon at Old Trafford.
