The family of Pa Babatunde Samuel has appealed to the Inspector General of Police, Adamu Muhammed, to help locate their son, Master Ottu Samuel, who got missing in the wake of the “Revolution Now” protest in Abuja on August 4, 2019.

Pa Babantunde Samuel told newsmen in Lagos Thursday that their son participated in the August 4, Omoyele Sowore led “Revolution Now” protest in Abuja.

He explained that the family had expended a lot of money visiting offices of the Department of State Services (DSS), Police formations, mortuaries and hospitals to look for the missing boy.

According to him, “we even went as far using radio and television stations to ensure Ottu was located but every effort proved abortive”.

Ottu Samuel, who passed out of Darlington Universe College, Ejigbo, Lagos joined the other young Nigerians to participate in the “Revolution Now” protest which the convener, Omoleye Sowore said it was to rid Nigeria of bad and corruptive leadership.

It would be recalled that Mr. Omoyele Sowore, the publisher of Sahara Reporters and Presidential Candidate of Africa Action Congress (AAC) during the Presidential Election of February, 2019 spearheaded the “Revolution Now” protest in the nation’s Capital, Abuja on August 4, 2019 and was arrested with his Co-travelers on August 5, 2019 for what Nigeria Police called “Treasonable felony”
