Ribadu’ll make a good NSA – Adamawa APC chief

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa state, Mallam Hamisu Idris Medugu, has extolled the virtues of the pioneer chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.

In a statement in Abuja, Medugu said Ribadu is a fine politician who is decked with a high sense of humility, wisdom, and love of the people, deserving of the office of National Security Adviser (NSA).

“As the administration of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu is shopping for people with good records and integrity to help him pilot the affairs of the country, Ribadu is one of the finest Nigerians worthy of consideration as the national security adviser,” he said.

He said his choice of Ribadu is based on his vast knowledge on security and his high intelligence as a former Nigerian senior police officer.

He said Ribadu is corruption-free and passionate about the peace, unity, and progress of this country, adding that he will never compromise or ill-advise Mr. President on security issues.

He said only Ribadu will give selfless and unbiased services to Nigeria at this point, more so that over the years security architecture of the country has been bastardised and merchandised, owing to primordial sentiments.

Medugu, who was a strong contender for the senatorial seat of Adamawa North, stressed that with Ribadu at the helm of security affairs, even the perennial Adamawa APC crisis will come to an end and the state wholly belonging to the ruling party.
