Russia 2018: Orelesi eyes Super Eagles placement

Former junior international Nurudeen Orelesi has declared that he has what it takes to solve Super Eagles left back problems.
The versatile left full back that is known for his powerful and accurate long shot has been in impressive form for his Albanian club, Vllaznia Shkoder, scoring four goals in nine matches this season.
Speaking from his base in Albania, the player praised Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr for qualifying Nigeria for the world cup and equally hailed the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for the visionary appointment of the Franco German coach.
The Nigerian Player stressed that Super Eagles have what it takes to do well at the world cup in Russia adding “I so much believe in the coach. The current players in the team have done well and I believe they all deserve their places in the team and if I’m given the chance, I believe I have a place in the team.
“Many people have been saying the Super Eagles have defensive problem especially at the left full back position but I think the defence have not done badly as people think. One thing I know is that if given a chance, I’m sure I will do my best to fortify the team’s left full back position.
Orelesi represented Nigeria at the FIFA under-20 world cup in Russia under Coach Samson Siasia .
