S/Eagles back in Abuja from Freetown



The Super Eagles are back in the country ,arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport ,Abuja in the early hours of Wednesday from Freetown Sierra Leone after holding the Leon Stars  to a 0-0 draw in Group L of the AFCON qualifier match.


A top official of the team informed our Blueprint Sport last night that the team left for airport immediately after the match to board the chartered flight back home.
It was gathered that the team arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at about 2am Wednesday morning.

Several of the players immediately left for their different bases to team up with their teams.


The  Eagles still top Group L on eight points after four games played so far in second place is Benin Republic on seven points, Sierra Leone are third  on three points while Lesotho fourth on two points.


Genot Rohr’s men next match is a dicey encounter against Benin Republic on 22 March 2021 in Cotonou and they will round off the qualifiers with an home game against Lesotho on 30 March
