Tsaunin Kura Residents Association (Sabo GRA) has described the death of Hajiya Maryam Lawal Ismail, the step mother of Senator Representing Kaduna Central, Senator Uba Sani, as painful.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by its executive Public Relations Officer (PRO), Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson, and made available to Blueprint on Friday.
The statement revealed that in a condolence letter signed by the President General of the community, Dr Silas Adamu, urged Senator Sani to be strong.
“On behalf of the members of the Tsaunin Kura GRA Residents Association (Sabo GRA) we write to commiserate with you over the death of your beloved step mother, Hajiya Maryam Lawal Ismail.
“The death of a loved one is painful, leaving memories of good times shared together, which rekindle hope of a reunion in paradise.
“We urge you to be strong and remain firm bearing in mind that she lived a Fulfilled life,” the statement quoted the letter.
The statement further said that as members of his constituency, they are behind him during his trying moment and pray that almighty Allah grants him the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“We also pray Allah forgives her shortcomings and grants her Aljannah Firdaus,” it added.
