Sahco clings BA ground handling deal

Nigerian giant indeginous ground handling firm, the Skyway Aviation Handling Company (SAHCO) has won the ground handling services of United Kingdom British Airways across two major airports in Nigeria.

The Nigerian company will be providing Passenger and Ramp Handling services to British Airways at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja and Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, according to details of the contract.

Sahco said it was able to attract and retain the confidence of British Airways due to the seamless, safe and speedy service delivery reputation it is known for over the years.

The new deal saw Sahco provided the handling of the evacuation flight which occurred on the 8th of May, according to the management.

Similarly, Air France has signed another warehousing contract with Sahco at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

The leading ground handling company will provide Cargo warehousing service throughout the country for Air France.
