Sallah: NSCDC assures Ebonyi citizens of adequate security

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has assured citizens of Ebonyi of adequate security during the Sallah celebrations in the state.

The state Commandant of the corps, Comdt. Steve Usman, in a release signed by the command’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Mr Paul Odimba, said the corps would ensure a peaceful celebration in the state.

Usman in the release, said the corps has massively deployed its personnel across the 13 Local Government Areas (LGA) of the state, to
ensure adequate security before, during and after the celebrations.

“Armed and plain-clothed operatives would be at all strategic locations of the state while flashpoints will be covered to nip criminal activities in the bud.

“The public are enjoined to execute their lawful businesses with full assurances of adequate security, to ensure a peaceful celebration.

“All national assets and government’s critical infrastructure: mosques, churches, markets, motor parks and recreation centres will be
adequately guarded against activities of unscrupulous elements.

“We wish Muslims faithful a happy and memorable Sallah celebration.”
