Sambo’s wife, Edwin Clark, condole with Bala

Elder statesman and former Minister of Information, Chief Edwin Clark, yesterday led his friends, associates and political sons to condole with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, over the death of his elder brother, Malam Yusuf Mohammed Baba.

Clark described the death as “sad,” but appreciated God that the late Malam Baba lived a successful and exemplary life worthy of emulation.

He said the deceased was a role model and one of the first university graduates, who positively impacted on the lives of many, especially the less-privileged persons in the society.

He enjoined the minister and their entire family to take solace that the deceased lived a fulfilled life and prayed for the repose of his “gentle soul.”

Responding, the minister thanked him for his modesty and humility to be in his residence to sympathise with him and his family.
Meanwhile, the wife of the Vice President, Hajiya Amina Namadi Sambo, was also at the official residence of the FCT minister on Wednesday to commiserate with him.

She said his death was sad and great loss to the entire people of Bauchi state, “considering his contributions to the development of Bauchi state, particularly in the education sub-sector.”

She prayed to Almighty Allah to grant his “gentle soul a peaceful rest” and the immediate family the fortitude to bear the loss.
