SAN loses mother as Kwara FA mourns


A Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Mallam A. U. Mustapha Wednesday lost his mother, Hajiya  Hussana Alarape Mustapha.

The Ilorin-born SAN in  a statement he personally issued  said the deceased passed on in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital.

“We pray to Almighty Allah to rest her soul in peace and grant her Al-Janat Firdaus, Aameen..Al-hamudulillahi! Please, continue to remember us in your prayers as always”, Mustapha said.

Meanwhile, the Kwara State Football Association has sympathised with the Senior Advocate of Nigeria and his family over the death of their matriarch.

The state FA Chairman, Malam Idris Musa Abdullahi urged the family and all associates of the deceased to find strength in her good works.

Abdullahi in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity,Bolaji Lawal, also condoled with the pioneer FA chairman, Alhaji Usman Mustapha (Wali of Ilorin), Hon. Moshood Mustapha, Alh. Lukman Mustapha, the grandchildren of the late alhaja and members of the Ilorin Emirate. 

He said they would miss the counsel and guidance the deceased garnered from hard work and used to raise a disciplined and focused family.

“Our thoughts are with the family at this trying period, we pray that Allah (SWT) would comfort them and grant the soul of the departed Aljanah Firdaus”, the statement said.
