Sanga APC caretaker c’ttee urged to step up development efforts

The newly constituted caretaker committee members of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sanga local government area of Kaduna state have been charged to step up efforts towards the development and progress of the party.

Chairman of the local government council, Mr. Charles Danladi, gave the charge during the inauguration ceremony of the committee over the weekend at the party office in Gwantu.

Mr Danladi said their inauguration was a sign that a lot of confidence was reposed in them by Governor Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai of the state and urged them to desist from making unguarded utterances that could affect the image of the party.

Earlier, the chairman of the caretaker committee, Mr Inuwa Sambe, said the committee was constituted in order to reposition the party for it to create the desired impact in all political activities.

Sambe, who warned them to shun backbiting, also tasked them on cooperation and mutual understanding in order to surmount existing challenges undermining the progress of the party.

While calling on members of the party to support the caretaker committee, he explained that they would serve for a period of six months.

The caretaker committee members, who were the dissolved officials of the party, were retained and inaugurated alongside their counterparts at the ward level.
