Saraki’s aide felicitates with Muslims on Eid-el-Fitr

Hon Gbenga Makanjuola, deputy chief of staff to former Senate President Bukol Saraki, has felicitated with the Muslim community in Nigeria on the celebration of the Eid-el-fitr.

He also congratulated all Muslims for successfully completing this year’s Ramadan fast.

In a sallah message, a copy of which was obtained by our correspondent in Abuja,  the two-term House of Representatives member urged the Muslim community to pray for the unity and peace of the nation as they celebrate.

Makanjuola called on the Muslim faithful to use the Eid-el-fitr celebrations to re-dedicate themselves to the ideals of peace, security and unity.

He advised that citizens should celebrate peacefully and moderately without throwing caution into the wind, owing to the specified measures laid down by the authorities to curb the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Kwara PDP deputy governorship candidate in the 2019 election urged Nigerians to promote religious tolerance, adding that such virtues would ensure peace across the country and enhance national development.

While wishing Muslims across Kwara state a happy celebration, the former lawmaker lauded the Muslim community in his country home for their consistent support for his leadership.
