SARS: Myetti Allah commends Osinbanjo, IGP over reform

The national president of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, a Fulani socio-cultural association, Alhaji Bello Abdullahi Bodejo has commended the acting president, Yemi Osinbanjo for the overhaul of the Special Anti-Rubbery Squad (SARS) and the prompt response of the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris who effected change in the new Federal Special Anti-Rubbery Squad (FSARS).
Bodejo made the commendation in Abuja yesterday and said the reforme of SARS to FSARS would give Nigerians a sense of belonging with Nigeria Police Force (NPF).
He said the abuse of Human Rights would be reduced to the barest minimum.
He advised the new leaders of FSARS to add more efforts to reduce the spate of kidnapping, cattle rustling, armed robbery and other forms of vices in the country.
According to Bodejo, the relationship between the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore and security agencies would be stronger with this reforme that has been put in place.
He added that the NPF had good officers under the leadership of the IGP.
The Fulani leader called on Nigerians to support the new reformed Nigerían Police Force, adding that they should always give information to the security agencies to enable them do their job effectively for the benefit of all.
