The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, will Wednesday deliver the fourth Founders’ Day Lecture of Edo university, Iyamhoin, Edo state.
The lecture titled: “The Nigerian Air Force, Making Giant Strides in Keeping Nigeria Safe” would be chaired by Prof. Suleiman Bogoro, Executive Secretary, Tertiary Education Trust Fund.
Vice Chancellor, Edo University, Engr. Prof. Emmanuel Aluyor, who disclosed this during a pre-convocation press briefing said the event will be held via zoom.
Aluyor stated that the lecture was part of activities to mark the institution’s second convocation ceremonies.
According to the VC, 50 graduates would be conferred the university degrees during the week-long event.
He reiterated the university’s council has approved over 100 scholarships each year to indigent students.
