Screening for Police Academy begins Thursday

The FCT Police Command has said that screening exercise for the 7th Regular Course of the Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC), Wudil, Kano, commence on Thursday, October 24, 2019.

A press statement by the Deputy Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the command, ASP Yusuf Mariam, read in part: “The FCT Police Command wishes to inform parents, guardians and successful candidates who have been selected for the screening exercise of the 7th Regular Course of the Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC), Wudil, Kano, that the exercise has been scheduled according to geopolitical zones and will hold as follows: North East/North West Zone: October 24 – 30, 2019; North Central/South West Zone: 31st October 31 – November 6, 2019; and South South/South East Zone: November 7-13, 2019.”

The spokesperson, who said the venue of the exercise was the Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC), Wudil, Kano state, noted that, “Shortlisted candidates are expected to come with the following: original credentials with 15 photocopies each; 15 passport photographs; certificate of indigineship to be authenticated by state representatives that will be sent by the state government; white canvass, white vest, white shorts and white socks.”

He said all candidates would be subjected to medical examination/fitness test at the venue, adding that parents/guardians would not be allowed into the Academy during the screening exercise.
