Security chiefs mum after emergency meeting with Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday had a close-door meeting with heads of security agencies at the Presidential Villa in Abuja to review the current security situations in the country.
Security chiefs that attended the meeting declined to brief journalists on what transpired.
It was an enlarged meeting attended by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustapha; National Security Adviser, Maj.-Gen. Babagana Monguno (retd.); Minister of Defence, Mr. Mansur Dan-Ali; Minister of Interior, lt.-Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau; and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama.
Others, who attended the meeting, were the Director-General of State Security Services (SSS); Mr. Lawal Daura; Director of the Nigeria Intelligence Agency (NIA), Mr. Ahmed Rufai Abubakar; Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Gabriel Olonisakin; Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Tukur Buratai; Chief of Naval Staff, Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas; Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar; and the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Idris.
Heads of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Customs Service, Nigeria Fire Service, Federal Road Safety Corps, Nigeria Prisons Service, and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, were also in attendance.
