Security duty of all operatives, says Air Force boss 

The head of Nigerian Air Force, 671 Detachment, Ibadan, Air Commodore Nasir Babatunde Folaji, Wednesday, said the security of Nigeria is the duty of all security operatives in the country.

Air Commodore Folaji stated this during his visit to the headquarters of the Oyo state Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), old NITEL Building, Agodi Ibadan.

He said to ensure this; there is the need for synergy of efforts between the security agencies in Nigeria.

“Security of the nation is the duty of all security operatives. Therefore, there should be synergy of efforts between security agencies,” he said.

Air Commodore Folaji noted that security of Oyo state can only be achieved through persistent cooperation between the two organisations as it is done in the past and that Nigerian Air Force will continue to give support to the Oyo state command of NSCDC.

Oyo state Commandant of the NSCDC, Commandant Michael Adaralewa, while receiving said the era of inter-agency rivalry is over as the common goal is security of lives and properties of the people of Oyo state and the nation at large.

The Oyo state NSCDC commandant stated that the corps has improved in her activities through investment in training and retraining exercise implemented by the Commandant General of the Corps, CG Abubakar Ahmed Audi.
