Senator Abbo hails Ribadu @60


The senetor representing Adamawa North senetorial district in the National Assembly, Senator Elisha ishiaku Abbo, popularly called cliff has eulogised the life and virtue of the former chairman Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadau, as he clocks 60 years of age.


Senator Abbo described him as an honest, simple and detribalised Nigerian alive.
Senator Abbo stated this in his felicitstion message to Ribadau where he explained that Ribadu’s simple and honest life attracted him to resign his appointment as special advicer to Adamawa governor and join Ribadau political team as a volunteer.
He said, “I resigned my appointment as special adviser to the governor of Adamawa state to join your team as a volunteer.

Eventually, I became your personal assistant (PA), then special assistant and much more personal confident. I want to appreciate you today from the depth of my heart as you clock the age of 60,” parts of the statement reads.

Going down the memory lane, Senator Abbo recalled how he forced a police detail and security oo Ribadu in 2011 after he met the then Adamawa state commissioner of police, and reguested for police protection against the wish of Ribadu who tongue lashed him for three days.


He then wished the former EFCC boss many more years of commitment, sacrifices and services to the nation.
