Senatorial aspirant donates campaign office to Buhari, el-Rufai

A senatorial aspirant for Kaduna central zone under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Usman Ibrahim has donated an office for President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Nasir el-Rufai’s campaign activities.
Th ough, President Buhari is yet to make known his intention to contest for second term, Hon.
Ibrahim said it is imperative for Nigerians with progressive mind to contribute their quota towards achieving a second term for President Buhari “considering his numerous achievements since he assumed power in 2015.
The former Kaduna North interim chairman said that PresidentBuhari and Governor el-Rufai were two individuals who had left positive footprints wherever they serve the public.
He listed the fight against corruption, insurgency and indiscipline in the public sector among others as some achievements of the present regime.
“The President deserves a second term for continuation of the good developmental projects he has embarked on to avoid a situation where ongoing projects are truncated halfway.
The Youth empowerment Programme provides an avenue for teeming unemployed Nigerian graduates to be engaged and earn N30,000 monthly stipend, while some are engaged in different vocations so that they would be selfreliant.
“Nigeria has turned into a giant construction site where priorities have been given to areas that need urgent government intervention such as road construction and dualization, look at road construction going on across all the regions of the country.
Some have been completed while others are ongoing.
” Speaking on Governor el-Rufai, thesenatorial aspirant said, “in Kaduna state, we are privileged to have a Governor, who has through his ingenuity, changed the outlook of Kaduna.
Governor el-Rufai has embarked on road construction and dualization in Kaduna metropolis and across the three zones in the state.
“I implore Kaduna people not to be deceived by these politicians whose motives are selfish and selfcentred.
They don’t have the interest of the people at hearts.
They capitalize on sentiments to gain sympathy of the people to achieve their goals thereafter; the people would realize their true colours,” he said.
“The era where elected representatives at the National Assembly would corner constituency allowances for their personal expenditures is over, I will make public accountability my code of conduct to avoid being swayed by personal ego at the detriment of my constituency whom I would be serving,” Ibrahim said, while pledging to replicate at thesenate the achievements of President Buhari and Governor el-Rufai, if elected,”he said.
