The management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) have suspended a lecturer, Dr. Boniface Igbeneghu, over allegations of sexual assault.
Also, his church where he is reportedly a Pastor has slammed a suspension on him.
The school’s Pro-Chancellor, Dr. Wale Babalakin, confirmed the development to Channels Television on Monday.
He also said the university council would investigate the matter as it does not condone such behaviour.
The suspension comes just hours after the release of a documentary filmed discretely by the BBC.
In the video, Igbeneghu, was captured in a compromising manner with a reporter who had disguised as a 17-year-old, seeking admission.
He has also been suspended by the foursquare church where he is a part-time pastor.
