SKCLA interfaces with 3 gubernatorial candidates in Kaduna

The Southern Kaduna Christian Leaders Association (SKCLA) has  held a one-day interface with the Kaduna state gubernatorial candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP).

The interaction took place at Throne Room Ministries, Kafanchan, Tuesday and it was the second of its kind.

It afforded the candidates the opportunity to present their agenda on security, education, agriculture, infrastructural development among others, if given the mandate in 2023.

The chairman, Southern Kaduna Christian Leaders Association, Apostle Emmanuel Kure, said the interface is aimed at ensuring that a competent and credible candidate is supported in the election to pilot the affairs of the state in the right direction.

Kure added that the engagements with the governorship candidates will enable the church to make informed decisions on the candidate to support in the forthcoming 2023 elections.

“The essence of the meeting is to hear how they intend to govern Kaduna state as it affects Southern Kaduna.

“This is to enable the congress to educate and guide their congregations as to which direction the Lord will have us follow in the 20v23 elections.

“This is an opportunity to meet other candidates who could not make it to the first meeting due to one reason or the other.

“We are here to ask questions that will decide our collective future,” Kure said.
