Sokoto APC jittery over PDP’s overwhelming support – Tambuwal

Sokoto state governor, Barr. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has said the opposition All Progressive Congress (APC ) in the state is jittery over the overwhelming support PDP is enjoying, courtesy of his impressive performances and the calibre of candidates being fielded for the forthcoming general elections.

The governor, who stated this in Binji town, headquarters of Binji local government area, said, “the opposition APC in the state, having realised that they can’t win any elective position in Sokoto state in desperate move has resorted to PVC buying thinking it will help them to win elections.”

His words: ”Reports indicated that APC in the state is making frantic efforts to buy the electorate’s rights through compromising their PVCs knowing full well, they stand no chance of electoral victory in the forthcoming elections.”

He said the people of Sokoto are too wise to be deceived because they are comfortable with the good work and dividends of democracy being delivered under his leadership.

Tambuwal advised the electorate not to give their PVCs to anybody, especially the opposition APC which he described as desperate to take power by moving from one house to another to buy PVCs.

He said, “the main opposition party in the state has lost ground, courtesy of its unpopular candidates and policies at the federal level,” which according to him wreaked havoc and untold hardship on the people.

He advised Nigerians to vote out the APC in the February/ March general elections because the federal government has woefully failed in every aspect of life.

The governor, who is also the Director General Atiku Abubakar Campaign Council, also advised Nigerians to vote for Abubakar  and all the PDP candidates at all levels.
