SON director hammers on need to assist less privilege

Director of Projects Certification, at Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON) Tersoo Orngudwem, Monday stated the need to assist the less privilege to acquire education.

He also said education enhances the beauty of the mind by learning to see the beauty in every little thing.
Speaking at the 40th anniversary celebration of the John’s Secondary School, Gboko and 100 million naira appeal fund for construction of e-library, he commended old students of St. John’s Secondary School, Gboko, popularly known as SAJOSA for giving back to her alma mater saying 40 years as a school is worth celebrating considering the level the school has attained in the educational map of Nigeria.


Orngudwem who served as chairman of the occasion, advised the students about the greatness of their destiny, hence, they should not allow fear to intimidate them.
Also speaking, the principal, Rev. Fr. Raphael Tarlumun, applauded the current exco of SAJOSA under Comrade Terver Adom, for taking up the more challenging duty of bringing old students together and organising the anniversary for the school.
He added that within the period of 40 years of existence, the school has recorded tremendous achievements in the area of infrastructure and academics.
