The leadership of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) Southeast zone has congratulated the newly elected 1st Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Chief Felix Anyansi Agwu.
In a congratulatory message signed by the Vice President and Secretary of the zone Ms. Chigozie Chukwuleta and Ijeoma Nwante, SWAN on Thursday October 6, 2022 said, “The executive and members of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria SWAN, South East Zone wish to felicitate with Chief Anyansi Agwu on his election as the 1st Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.
“SWAN South East Zone under the leadership of Ms Chigozie Chukwuleta (VP South East) joins many Nigerians and particularly our South East football fraternity to rejoice with our own as we are without doubt that he will bring his wealth of experience in charting a new and good course for Nigerian Football.
“The sports writers body however wishes to use this opportunity to urge the Enyimba Int’l FC of Aba Chairman and the new NFF Board members under the leadership of Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau on the need to unite the Nigerian football family and drive a new and positive innovations that will take Nigerian football to greater heights.”
The new NFF executive board was elected and inaugurated on September 30, 2022 in Benin City, Edo state capital.
