The Southern Kaduna region and beyond will experience a rapid growth in all ramifications come 2023, when the member representing Jaba constituency and a senatorial hopeful on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Samson Monday Dikko, wins election to represent the area in the Senate.
The director-general, Dikko Campaign Organisation (DCO), Timothy Chindo Kwassam, said this in his welcome remarks during a meeting with some delegates from the eight local government areas that constitute the Southern Kaduna senatorial district in Kagoro.
He said: “As a people, our collective destiny is now in our own hands and the project is taking Southern Kaduna to its rightful place. It is a task that must be embraced by all and sundry, with Samson Monday Dikko leading the way with the help of God, our creator.
“Just like it is stated in the Holy Bible, ‘for everything under the Sun, there is a season,’ so, the coming of Dikko at this critical period of our time is not a mere coincidence, but a plan by God to liberate the region from all that has hindered it from growing and competing with other regions.”
In his remarks, Dikko said he was grateful to God for what He had done in Jaba LGA by giving hope to those “who before now felt they had been abandoned by those who ought to have taken care of them.”
Dikko said God had a better plan for Southern Kaduna through him, hence, his call on all the people of goodwill to support him in the project of re-building “our land and taking over our possession in our God’s given territory, using the instrumentality of power, without which nothing much can be done to the benefits of the people.”
