Spinal Cord injury patient begs Gov. Ishaku, TB Joshua, others for assistance

A spinal cord injury patient in Taraba state, John Joshua, on Thursday appealed to Taraba state Governor Darius Ishaku,  prophet TB Joshua, pastor Paul Enenche and other good spirited Nigerians to as a matter of urgency come to his aide  to enable him travel to India to for treatment.

Joshua, who made the appeal while speaking with Blueprint in his in house in Mayo-Dasa, road block area of Jalingo said he has been on wheel chair for over 17 years.

He said that he sustained the injury in an auto crash while traveling from Ussa to Takum  in 2003.

 “I was a temporary staff with Taraba State Television Corporation, Jalingo, before i had the accident. And since then, I have  been bed-ridden and depends on support from my wife, friends and other individuals,” he said.

He stated that he has gone to several hospitals including Jos University Teaching Hospital and Orthopedic Hospital Dala in Kano for treatment, but his situation still required further treatment in abroad.

He said since the unfortunate accident, life have been very difficult for him and his family.

Joshua who is a father of four children lamented that his wife a casual staff is the one shouldering the responsibilities of his family from the stipend she is being paid.

  “Let me use  this opportunity to beg members of the public to kindly support  me financially so that l can travel to India for treatment” he appealed.

He said that he needs 7 million naira at the moment to enable him go to India, Canada, Israel or America for treatment.
