Sprinter, Bolt in Dortmund for soccer trial

Athletics legend, Usain Bolt, on Friday took part in a training session of the German Bundesliga football team, Borussia Dortmund.
Bolt is hard at work with Dortmund as he angles to earn a deal as a professional footballer.

He is no longer the fastest man on Earth, but Bolt feels he is ready to make the move from athletics to the beautiful game.

The eight-time Olympic champion has joined the Bundesliga club on a trial basis, and his first training session with the club has been going on today.

If he proves himself, Bolt is angling for a move to the team he supports – Manchester United.

In fact, Bolt told ESPN he’s already asked Jose Mourinho for a chance with the Red Devils.

The retired sprinter said: “I’ve definitely asked him for a spot on the team, but as I said, I just want to wait until after the trials to really push and to really pressure. It’s something I said to him, and he said, ‘If you’re serious, we’ll see what happens,’ so let’s see what happens [this week].”
