Stanbic IBTC Bank unveils education sector value proposition

Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc has unveiled an electronic value proposition for educational institutions. Th is is set to address the often cumbersome and costly payment and collection processes in schools as well as address the fi nancial and investment needs of schools. Th e proposition includes a payment and collection solution, investment and funding solutions for schools.

Th e launch took place in Lagos at a function organized by the bank to appreciate its customers in the education sector. Th e bank said the new education solution, which is cost eff ective, easy and convenient to deploy and use, is set to revolutionize all aspects of fi nancial transactions in schools. According to the bank, with the e-solution, parents and guardians can now seamlessly pay for their wards’ school fees and other school payments from the comfort of their homes or offices without having to engage the school at any stage of the payment process, while the school will now be able to track infl ows and match each payment with specifi c student or project without the need to verify by engaging parents.
