Already, the picture of such bizarre outlet executed in the name of a contituency project is atrracting uncomplimentary comments on the social especially by the members of the Legislator’s constituents.

One of them, Moses Oruaze Dickson‏  in frustration wrote via his twitter handle @Oruaze : “History is made as Imo state house of assembly member Hon. Barr. commissions a Bet9ja shop he built for his people in Obuowo Imo State as part of his Constituency Project to his people. I did not believe my eyes till I saw it at Chukwudi’s wall. In recent times, Imo state has always been in the News mostly for the controversial reasons.

Firstly, it was incumbent Governor, Rochas Okorocha who repeatedly moulded the statue of different individuals and commissioned them one after the other as major part of his achievements in a state where Civil Servants and Pensioners grumble over backlog of salaries, gratuity and pensions.

Then came another starnge moment when Okorocha announced own sister as Commissioner for Hapinness.

As the political atmosphere twisted, the same Imo state Governor campaigned and nearly installed his in-law, Uche Nwosu as the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate ahead of 2019 elections.

When his plans crashed, Nwosu moved on with his gubernatorial plans and joined another political party. Since Okorocha emerged as Governor, Nwosu has been and remained his Chief of Staff.

It remains to be seen what more dramatic show will erupt within the state as hte election dates draw closer.
