SUBEB promises teachers, pupils better days ahead in Lagos

Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has promised public primary school teachers and pupils in the state better days ahead.

The Chairman of the board, Hon. Wahab Alawiye King, made this promise during an inspection visit to St. Agnes primary school in Maryland Lagos, as part of their resumption activities.

Mr King with other members of the board  while adressing the pupils, promised a better welfare package for the teachers to enhance effective teaching and learning environment.

 “We are starting our tenure by seeking for your cooperation and support, we will also give you the necessary support and resources to fulfill your assignment. The board members toured the facility of SUBEB Headquarters and assured all staff that it’s a new era in SUBEB”, he said

A member of the Board, Bayo Adefuye, in his remark assured that the board would make efforts to improve the learning experience of the pupils ‘Where they learn, how they learn, and what they learn’.

Another Board member, Dayo Israel, said “Our  Interest is in taking Lagos Education to a greater height and we will not fail by the grace of God”.
