Sule flags off N1.6bn Keffi square


Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state, has flagged off the construction of Keffi square and neighborhood market awarded at the cost of over N1.6 billion as part of activities to mark his one year in office.
Sule while flagging off the projects in Keffi on Monday said the projects were also initiated in order to improve on the revenue base of the state.
He said the neighborhood market would have over 500 locks up shop while the Keffi square would over 1,400 capacity seats.


The governor said the Keffi square and neighborhood market were to enhance the socio-economic activities of the people of Keffi, the state and Nigeria at large.
The governor tasked the contractor handling the job, Canonic Associates, to adhere strictly to project specification by ensuring that quality jobs were done.


He also tasked the contractor to adhere strictly to project specifications in the interest of development.
Earlier, the consultant handling the project, Archtect Shehu Tukur, of Canonic association promised to do a quality job.
