Sule, Iloenyosi to lead Players’ Union 19-man task force

Two ex-international players, Abdul Sule and Chikelue Iloenyosi has been appointed by the National Association of Nigerian Professional Footballers (NANPF) to head 19-members the task force of the body.

Sule will serve as chairman while Iloenyosi will deputize for him

In a press statement made available to Blueprint Sport, NANPF’s President Tijani Babangida, MON, stated that the appointments of the duo to lead the task force was hinged on their unflinching commitments and unalloyed dedication to the cause and objectives of the players’ union.

He charged them to redouble their efforts towards achieving the set goals and tasks laid before the committee for the benefits of the Nigerian footbalIers at home and abroad.

Abdul Sule, who is the Chairman of Kogi United and Confluence Queens, was quick to appreciate the recognition and appointment to lead the task force. While he also reiterated his determination to help the players’ union achieve its mission to ensure the welfare and wellness of Nigerian players at all times.

Former Super Eagles defender, Chikelue Iloenyosi, describe the appointment as a call to service. He reassured that he remains committed to the betterment of the Nigerian footbalIers. Adding that he would continue to do supports plans aimed at ensuring a better life for Nigerian players, as well as, give the present assignment, his usual selfless efforts.
