Sultan inaugurates Muslim Media Watch Group’s BoT tomorrow

The Sultan of Sokoto and PresidentGeneral, Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), will tomorrow inaugurate the Board of Trustees (BOT) of the Muslim Media Watch Group of Nigeria.
According to a statement issued by the National Coordinator of the group , Abdullahi Ibrahim ,the ceremony which takes place in Osogbo, the Osun state capital, will have the state’s governor , Engineer ‘Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola as the Special Guest of Honour.
The Sultan who is the Grand-Patron of the Association, will also serve as the Chief Guest of Honour at the ceremony ,the statement added.
The BoT which has renowned legal practitioner, Mal. Yusuf Olaolu Ali, SAN as Chairman, has Mal. Muhammad Haruna – member ,Hon. Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Shittu – member, Prof. Abdul-Ganiyu Ambali, Prof. Obini Ekpe and Prof. Saadiya Omar Bello as members .
The ceremony which will also have Prof. Is-haq Oloyede – the JAMB Registrar as Guest of Honour, will be presided over by the Chairman, Oyo State Muslim Community and former National President of National Council of Muslim Youth Organisations, Alh.
Ishaq Kunle Sanni as chairman.
A paper on the ‘Effective Use of Mass and Social Media for Da’awah’ will be presented by former Editor-in-Chief and member of the Editorial Board of the defunct Concord Newspapers, Alhaji Liadi Tella.
