Daryl Dike, who is eligible through his parents to play for Nigeria, has been called up to USA men’s national team.
The Orlando City hitman is among the 22 players called by head coach Gregg Berhalter for December camp in South Florida ahead of a friendly against El Salvador at the Inter Miami CF Stadium on December 9.
Dike is joined by another Nigerian, Ayo Akinbola, who features for Toronto FC.
Akinbola is also eligible for both Nigeria and Canada.
The 20-year-old Dike scored eight goals this season, while Akinola scored nine goals for Toronto FC.
Daryl Dike’s older brother Bright has already been capped by the Super Eagles, while his sister, Courtney, played for the Super Falcons.
