Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala opens her goal account for FC Barcelona Femini this season with a brace to inspire her side to 6-1 win over Atletico Madrid this weekend.

The two goals ensured the Nigerian forward ended her three matches without a goal since the start of the women’s league this campaign.

Barca continued to dominate the game at the start of the second half with the Nigerian star grabbing her second goal just after two minutes of resumption.

Atletico were reduced to 10 players after Tounkara was sent off for a second yellow in the 60th minute.

Silvia Meseguer became the second Atletico player to score an own goal in the match in the 76th minute as the Catalan ladies claimed their third straight win over their rivals.
