Support Buhari to curb insecurity, Group tells Nigerians

A non- governmental volunteer group, under the umbrella of the Atmosphere of Love Chaplaincy ALC, has asked Nigerians to rally round President Muhammadu Buhari in order to tackle the myriads of security challenges currently bedeviling the country.
Speaking at the commissioning of its Suleja office in Niger State, Commandant General of ALC, Dr. Desmond Ononuju, said, for the country to achieve the needed peace & national development, citizens must contribute their quota to ensure that insecurity becomes a thing of the past.
He maintained that as part of its lawful mandate, the group is playing complementary roles with other relevant security agencies to restore & promote ethno-religious peace and harmony across board.
Speaking earlier, Niger State Commandant of the Chaplain, Daniel Ani, identified lack of finance as major a factor affecting the smooth operations of its mandate.
Ani also called on the federal government to encourage the group who he said has achieved greatly in its over two years of existence.
