Supreme Court FC jail DSS in Abuja

Two second half goals from Ejike Orji and Peter Michael sent home fans in frenzy yesterday after Supreme Court FC turned on style to hammer visiting DSS of Kaduna 2-0 in one of the Nigeria National League (NNL) matches decided in Abuja.

The match which began with both teams squandering several chances in the early proceedings, however, ended in favour of the home side who came into second half spreading all over the place like the harmattan fire.
Coming into second half, Orji first latched on a defensive error to convert a sharp flick from teammate Jude Chibuike who was at his best till he was replaced by AdamuAbdullahi in the 80th minute.

Orji’s opener was followed by another bang from Peter Michael who earlier squandered many chances before converting a pass from Chibuike to make it two for the Apex Boys.
A total of nine goals so far garnered in six matches have placed the Abuja-based team in an advantage position on the NNL log.
Michael who has so far gotten his second goal of the season vowed to keep firing, adding “I have set a target for myself this season and I’m hoping to achieve it with more playing time.
Supreme Court FC head coach, Henry Haggai, praised the performance of his boys with a promise to work on noticeable lapses before the next match against Plateau United in Jos.
According to him, “We missed some chances especially in the first half but thank God my players were able to convert a few of them. My game plan was not to score only in first half and that is why we need to do more work.”
