The T.Y Danjuma Foundation Tuesday said it has earmarked over 24 million naira to carryout projects in health and education for the year 2020 in Taraba state.
The Taraba state coordinator of the foundation, Mr. Emmanuel Ishaku, who disclosed this in Jalingo during the 2020 T.Y Danjuma foundation grantees training programme said six organizations out of forty that applied were selected to carryout different projects in health and education.
He stressed that the six organizations includes Hope Care Center Nigeria, Wotclef, Kwararafa Galaxy, Jukun Wanu Cultural Development, Association, Franklin Talent Development and Community Care Initiative and Fadama Primary School.
“We will also soon move to Gashaka, Karm-Lamido, Wukari, Ibi, Jalingo and Takum respectively, “he said.
The representative of T. Y Danjuma, foundation, Mr. Muyewa Timothy Ilorin who is the finance officer of the foundation said the T.Y Danjuma foundation has three main grant schemes.
He added that T.Y Danjuma Taraba Community Fund last year impacted on the lives of people at the grassroots in the state.
Muyiwa who expressed satisfaction with the performance of the fund in 2019 said the action plan for 2020 has started.
