Tambuwal swears in Muhammad Bello, 39 other aides

The governor of Sokoto state, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal on Friday sworn in Muhammad Ahmad Bello as special adviser on media and public affairs along with 39 others special advisers

Speaking shortly after the ceremony, Tambuwal charged the new aides to relate with members of the public on matters of public interest and development of the state.

Recall that the governor had since June received the approval of the state House of Assembly to appoint 40 special advisers to assist him in running the affairs of the state for the next four years.

Tambuwal reiterated the commitment of his administration to executing laudable projects with direct bearing on the lives of the common man across the state.

He also charged them to always listen to the public with a view to knowing their yearnings and aspirations in order to advise the government on how best to address them.

The governor, who expressed confidence on their ability, reminded them that the responsibility ahead of them is a tasking one, therefore, charged them to be punctual at their duty posts.

He commended the people of the state for their enormous support to his administration, assuring that his government would not relent in its efforts of taking the state to greater heights.
