Taraba : Youth council chair urges Kefas to include youth in his cabinet 

The Taraba state chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) on Thursday called on Gov. Agbu Kefas to include more youths into his cabinet.

The state Chairman, Mr Hikon Uten made the call while briefing newsmen in Jalingo.

He appealed to the governor to ensure that he fulfil his campaign promises on job creation for the teaming youths in the state.

He charged the governor to come up with programmes that would better the lives of the Youths state.

While congratulating the governor for the successful inauguration, Uten commended him for his appointment of the new Secretary to the State Government, Chief of Staff, Chief of Protocols and the Chief Press Secretary.

He pledged unalloyed support of Taraba youth to the new administration to take the state to greater heights.

“I wish to congratulate our brand new governor, Lt Col Agbu Kefas for his successful inauguration as the 4th executive governor of the state.

“I also on behalf of the Taraba State Youth Council of Nigeria, commend him for his first appointment of worthy hands in to verify important offices of the SSG, Chief of Staff, Chief of Protocols and the Chief Press Secretary.

“We urge him to consider appointment of youth into his cabinet and as well ensure that his promises to create job opportunities for the youth were actualised within his short time in the office.

“Taraba Youth will continue to support the new administration to achieve its vision of turning around the fortunes of the state,” he said.
