Tension rises in Flying Eagles camp as Aigbogun names final U-20 World Cup squad Monday

The tension in the Flying Eagles camp in Inglostadt, Germany, is palpable as coach Paul Aigbogun will tomorrow name his final squad for the U20 World Cup in Poland.

Over the weekend 12 players including some based in Europe were dropped by the Nigeria U20s.
The squad to Poland will include several players who did not feature at the recent U20 AFCON in Niger, where the Flying Eagles placed fourth.

Bournemouth midfielder Nnamdi Ofoborh will be one of such players.
However, the team will be without Villarreal exciting winger Samuel Chukwueze after he opted to feature at next month’s AFCON in Egypt with the Super Eagles.

IFK Goteborg midfielder Alhassan Yusuf will also not feature at Poland 2019 after his Swedish club blocked his call-up.
