The fate of Borno if Zulum is impeached

The tremendous successes recorded so far within the three years of Borno state governor Professor Babagana Umara Zulum in office can’t be over emphasized, considering how he works round the clock in providing citizens with the necessaries to improve on their well being, especially the victims of Boko Haram insurgents.

Borno state as an epicenter of Boko Haram, millions of people are suffering from the insurgency, people were killed properties destroyed worth billions of naira and many were unsettled from their community.

Borno state people were miserable prior to Zulum’s emergence, life indeed was unbearable to many to an extent one hardly ate twice a day, people were chased out of their homes, businesses ground, among others.

With the activities of the insurgents, Borno state lost its slogan “home of peace”. Boko Haram ravaged almost everything that makes Borno stand on its feet’s. In fact, many people were losing hope that peace will ever return o Borno state.

In God’s infinite mercies, Zulum came to salvage the situation, because since this democratic experience, Borno state has never witnessed such a hardworking governor.

Unfortunately, Zulum was threatened with impeachment by the state house of assembly for violating the state order. Now, my concern isn’t whether the impeachment saga exist or not but the fate of Borno state people if Zulum is impeached.

Things are taking shape and the breeze of peace is blowing in all the nooks and crannies of the state. People are enjoying the dividend of democracy; people can now go to school, farm, market and visit loved ones. What will be the situation if there is no Zulum?
