The word of God is in your mouth

‘The sword in Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.’ Pslm. 119:105

Do you navigate through life, wishing you knew God’s will for your life? Or have you discovered what God’s will and purpose is for your life? Gods will is not a mystery, it has been revealed in the Word, but you must seek it with faith and righteousness. You must have faith and believe that God will take care of you. If you lack faith in God, you will waste your life searching for the wrong things in the wrong places and you will be frustrated, unhappy and unfulfilled!

However, if you have faith and seek God, the Lord  will direct your steps and you will be successful in your marriage, employment, business deals, politics, etc. ‘But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.’ Hebrews 11:6
Without faith you cannot amount to much in life, and you need faith to know and understand the things of the spirit, the way of God. You may set goals and plan the means to achieve them but without faith in God you labour in vain! The Lord almighty manages all your plans, therefore you are dependent upon Him, for He may bless the good man with a favorable outcome and turn the evil man’s plans upside down. ‘For He looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.’ Hebrews 11:10. Always commit your works to the LORD in faith, ‘Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.’ Prvbs. 16:3.
Dear reader, life is full of challenges and difficulties, we live in a sinful world; an imperfect world because of sin. With prayer and obedience to God you will develop a spirit of discernment; He will open your mind spiritually, so you can achieve your goals. Once you commit to God and follow the rules of Scriptural wisdom, you will always be successful and happy.  No matter what your situation is right now, simply submit it to God’s will, ‘Come now, you who say,

“Today or  tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade  and make a profit” yet you do not  know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.”James 4:13-15.  God is in charge of your life. Man proposes while God disposes! Man freely devises; God powerfully directs! Man creatively plans; God masterfully dictates!  Your life and its plans are in His hands. Learn how to utilize this knowledge.

We can learn a lot from the story of Ruth who was a poor widow in a foreign land, she planned to work in the fields, picking up scraps after  the reapers, a lowly job with little future potential, but because of her faith, the Lord directed her path to the field of Boaz, a successful bachelor who became her husband! Hallelujah! (Ruth 2:3; 4:17)
Joseph was righteous, and the Lord directed his steps to Egypt’s throne, despite his brothers’ plan to kill him. It was the Lord that directed their steps to sell him into Egypt. So also Abraham had a plan to find a wife for Isaac, the Lord directed the servant to meet Rebekah first.  Jacob was fleeing from Esau, and the Lord directed his path and he become successful.
The Jews killed Jesus, but his death was turned to glory by God because His crucifixion was God’s choice for the salvation of mankind. Every step they took in this most heinous crime was according to God’s eternal Purpose.  Acts. 2:23; 3:18.
Dear reader, when you hear of the plans of the wicked against you, do not worry because their plan will be hijacked by God for His eternal  purpose in your life, Amen! Your enemies cannot bring anything to pass unless God has already designed such from eternity for His own glory.

The wicked are Gods’ puppets, the sword in His hand, ‘Arise, O Lord, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy  sword: from men which are thy hand, O Lord from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hidden treasure they are full of  children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.’ Pslm. 17:13-14. God may even allow prosperity to deceive your enemies, Prvbs. 1:32, He may even allow them to be successful for a while in order to gather riches for you;  Prvbs. 13:22,  only if you have faith in God and do His will!

When you are confused, seek God who is the author and the finisher of your faith, be prayerful, submit your plans and life to the Lord, choose the right course according to the word of God, get advice of godly counselors, and proceed, trusting God to take care of that aspect which is beyond your control. Do not worry, trust God and He will make perfect that which concerns you, as long as you trust and obey Him. ‘Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so He giveth His beloveth sheep.’ Pslm. 127: 1-2. Though God expects you to work hard at your goals, your success depends on His grace, not on your intelligence, ability or know-how in planning or executing your plans. God wants you to relax today and stop worrying because He loves you, he knew you before you were formed in your mothers’ womb and He will provide all your needs in His word.
Please say this prayer: Oh Lord, I receive this word in my heart and I profess with my mouth by faith in Christ that your word is eternally true; thank you for answering my prayer, to God be the glory. Amen.
