There is gap in Okorocha’s govt – Aspirant

One of the governorship aspirants on the platform of All Progressive Grand (APGA) seeking to unseat the incumbent Imo state governor, Dr. Okey Ezeh has said that his throwing his hat into the ring to become governor, so as to fill the gap created by Rochas Okorocha led government in the state.

Dr. Ezeh, who was at the National Secretariat of APGA yesterday to obtain the expression of interest and nomination forms presented to him by the National Secretary, Alhaji Sani Shinkafi, on behalf of the National Chairman Chief Victor Umeh, said time has come to correct the misconception that those seeking to be governor of Imo state are indebted businessmen who are seeking to pay their debt.

Ezeh said: “Governance is a continuum.  In Imo state for instance it used to be the view by some analysts that the governorship in Imo state appears to be a magnet for highly indebted businessmen who are seeking to pay their debts.

“It is thought provoking remarks which some of us who are from private sector have looked into carefully and said the time to breach that leadership gap is now, this is the time for professional with track record of proven ability to take over.”
