Those unhappy with new chiefdoms should channel complaint appropriately – Ishaku

Taraba state governor, Arc Darius Dickson Ishaku, Monday advised those who are unhappy with the creation of additional chiefdoms in the state to channel their grievances through the appropriate channel.

Gov Ishaku, who was reacting to complaints in some quarters on the exercise, said his administration decided to create chiefdoms as a way of enhancing development in the state.

Ishaku spoke in Jalingo when a delegation of Ndola people worldwide came to thank him at Government House for taking modern amenities to their domain.

He asked those complaining about the creation of chiefdoms to come out with their complaints, saying government would address such complaints if they are found to be genuine.

He described the discovery of Ngada by his wife, Barr Anna Ishaku as a landmark achievement of his administration and praised her for her courage and vision.

He promised to continue to assist Ngada Special Development Area to develop and to provide modern amenities to the people.

Speaking earlier, caretaker chairman of the development area, Pastor Joseph Nagombe thanked Governor Ishaku for giving the Ndola people an identity and providing them with modern amenities.

The Ishaku administration has built a clinic, a police post and promised to build a road that would further enhance transportation in and out of the area.
