… Receives support of Lagos APC exco
The All Progressives Congress Grassroots Governance Group APC G3 has inaugurated its Lagos state chapter with a call on members to embark on massive campaign for the party’s candidates from the state to the federal level.
During the event at Lagos, the APC G3 National Coordinator, Amechi Chuks Oyema charged members of the Support Group to ensure the message of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential ticket is taken to the grassroots.
He said that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has what it takes to unite Nigeria and promote economic development.
The national coordinator said the support group with solid grassroots structures in the 36 states and the FCT is poised to deliver between 300,000 and 500,000 votes to the APC Presidential team.
Mr. Oyema called on the people to ensure Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his deputy are re-elected for a second term to continue the socio-economic development being witnessed in the state.
Earlier, the Lagos state coordinator, APC G3, Mr. Gbenga Aguda commended the National Coordinator for his vision to deepen the party across the country.
He said the chapter is committed to the Tinubu/Shettima ticket, while working assiduously across the state to ensure Governor Sanwo-Olu gets a second term.
Speaking to journalists at the occasion, Deacon Banjo Omole, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in the Ifako/Ijaiye Local Government Area (Lagos) commended the group for working to ensure the victory of the party in the 2023 polls.
He called for intensive mobilization of the electorate to ensure they come out on voting days.
The inauguration was witnessed by party functionaries and members of the group across the state.
Meanwhile, the Lagos state Chapter of the APC has pledged support for activities of the APC G3.
The Secretary, Sunmi Lanre Odesanya and Treasurer, Lagos APC, Biodun Aigbe stated this when the National Coordinator, APC G3, Mr. Oyema visited the Party’s office at Ogba, Lagos.
The Secretary urged APC G3 not to relent in making sure the message of the party is sold across the country.
He said the party in the state is solidly behind the Tinubu/Shettima ticket.
Similarly, he assured that Governor Sanwo-Olu will be re-elected based on what he is doing in the state.
