Dozens of supporters and members of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikpoba Okha local government area of Edo state have hailed the appointment of Hon. Osarobo Idahosa as Edo state coordinator, Tinubu/Shettima Grassroots Independent Campaign Council (ICC).
The supporters who stormed the residence of the party’s chieftain in the local government, expressed joy over the appointment and pledged to work for the party’s victory at the 2023 general elections.
Idahosa who officially intimated party members of his appointment called for unity in the party and urged them to work for the success of Mr. Bola Tinubu presidential election and other APC candidates at the polls.
According to him, “it is time to be humble and forgive one another. The campaign is going to be door-to-door, market-to-market, church-to-church and office-to-office”, Osarobo stated.
He added that a vote for APC is a vote for good governance and economy progression, even as he pledged that everyone would be rewarded accordingly when Tinubu is voted to power.
On his part, the chairman of APC in Ikpoba Okha local government, Elder Humphrey Osayande, said the victory of APC in 2023 general election “is not negotiable” and sued for peace among members.
