Tinubu’s legacies stand him out above others – Okputu

The legacies of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stand him above every other presidential candidate in the 2023 race, deputy drector of the party’s Presidential Campaign Council, Dr Ochim Julius Okputu, has said.

Dr. Okputu, who is also the chairman, Media and Publicity Committee of the APC presidential visit to Cross River state for the South-south zonal town hall meeting, said the candidate is scheduled to storm Calabar Tuesday December 20, 2022at the Cultural Centre complex, Calabar.

“The history of this country is replete with evidence of exemplary

governance, progressive in stride and character. Lagos state, often described as mini Nigeria is a representative sample of that oasis, a cynosure of a working template in our democracy.

“Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, is the progenitor of that redemptive legacy. A fisher of men in governance, his cabinet in 1999 had a pan Nigerian outlook, with which he executed policies and initiatives that branded and separated Lagos state from the ordinary Nigerian.

“He believes in the inherent capacity of every child, man and woman to advance public interest. His determination to continue to forge common fronts in fostering our oneness has kept us together, the sacrifice to secure our fundamental right to vote and be voted for within an unfettered democratic space makes the essential of the Asiwaju presidency in 2023,” he stated.

Dr Okputu lauded President Muhammadu Buhari for laying foundation for a new Nigeria and believed that with renewed hope, the incoming administration of Tinubu would consolidate on the gains recorded so far.

He enumerated new development frontiers Tinubu was focusing on to include: industrialisation, creation of jobs and opportunities for all strata in the country as well as robust manufacturing and sustained innovation.
